A photograph I took in an Indiana cemetery about 10 years ago, found its way on to page 42 of the March 2024 issue of The Sun magazine. They used it for a short story about the crucifixion of Jesus from the viewpoint of an “unclean” woman who had been healed by him. Because she had been bleeding non-stop for a long time, she lived a banished life, never allowed to be seen in public. Her daughter finally convinced her to see this guy Yeshua from Nasrath. He healed her but she woke up eventually to find that the miracle had ended. It’s a strange and fascinating story from an unusual viewpoint, unlike the Bible written by men.
Coincidentally an essay, and a story with a female viewpoint, about Dysfunctional & Misogynistic God were also published recently by both Ori and Shalom Auslander, two Substack writers I highly recommend:

Anyhoozle, back to my news…
The Sun is a progressive literary magazine that includes black and white photography along with interviews, essays, poems and stories. The theme for March’s issue is women, sex and societal treatment of women. I'm so proud that my work was included!
That's a gorgeous photo! I'm so proud of you!
Congratulations! That’s fantastic, no mean feat to be published in The Sun. Beautiful photo!
